Before we jump in, I need to pause for a sec and acknowledge a past version of me – a girl who once cried because her mom 1) took her to get professionally fitted for a bra and 2) made her wear something other than a sports bra…the horror! Today that same girl is writing a blog post all about the best wireless bras (as a little break from educating women on pelvic floor health), and well…I’m pretty dang proud of how far she’s come.
*sigh*
Ok friend, my guess is you’re here for the exact same reason I found myself typing “best wireless bras” into the good ol’ Google search bar just a few weeks ago. I recently decided it was time for new bras after breastfeeding my daughter for two years and wearing a stained & stretched nursing bra even longer. Add in the facts that my breasts completely changed after pregnancy, pumping, and breastfeeding (more on those bad boys later) and I kinda wanted desperately needed an upgrade from the Victoria’s Secret t-shirt style I’d been buying since high school.

#Praisebe, there are so many options out there nowadays, but the endless selection left me overwhelmed, stuck in analysis paralysis, and ultimately just breaking down and shopping at Nordstrom where I was getting fitted anyway. Those bras ended up not quite working out, so I found myself back at square one and praying the Google gods would give me somethin’ good. Because those poor, worn nursing bras had already been trashed and the Nordy’s bras had to be returned ASAP, I threw caution to the wind (and had a little fun) trying on juuuuuuust about every wireless bra that popped up in my social feeds.
And now here we are!
In the end, I tried 19 different wireless bras from 8 different brands (so you don’t have to!) and found the best of the best that I’m now struttin’ around in and telling all my best gal pals about (including you *wink wink*). Ooooobviously bras are very personal things, but I can’t help but think you’ll enjoy the ones I fell in love with too.
A little bit about my body and…um…boobs
Like I said, my boobs have changed a lot in the last three years. I forget my size before having a baby, but my measurements per the lovely gal at Nordstrom are currently 34 D. My breasts have always filled out more to the sides than front (and still do) yet they’re not as full as they once were, and with age and life (and gravity) they’re not as “perky” as they used to be. I’m 5’4″, weigh about 150 pounds, and wear a size small or medium top.
The bra styles I was looking for
I’ve always only ever owned “regular” bras and sports bras, so when someone introduced me to the idea of a “weekend bra”, I was intrigued. I love me a good, productive but restful weekend, and the idea of a bra that embodied [those] feels had me sold. That being said, I was on the hunt for two bra styles – a “regular”, everyday, work & date night & church & event-appropriate bra, and a “weekend”, extra comfy but takes care of business bra that I can change into after a long day and effortlessly wear from Friday evening on.
Why go wireless?
Up until recently, I didn’t even know wireless bras were a thing. I had heard of and worn a few bralettes, but a bra that promised the same look, lift, separation, and support of an underwire bra…but without an underwire…was something I had to experience for myself. Not only did I want to try a wireless bra for the obvious comfort advantages, but they’re also known to mold and adapt better to breast shape and size (perfect for this postpartum mama whose body is still changing) AND place less restriction and pressure on the breast tissue allowing for more breathability, blood circulation, and lymphatic flow.

What I want need in a bra
I’ve shared many-a-time about all the positives of turning thirty, and a few of them are my newfound confidence, self-worth, and low tolerance for anything that doesn’t bring me pure joy and satisfaction. And yes…you better believe I carried that energy riiiiiiiight into my bra shopping and selections. So here’s what the best wireless bra looks like to me, and if you agree, you’re ~definitely~ gonna love my picks –
- Ridiculously comfortable – If I’m going to wear something that’s literally strapped around my body all day long, I ~need~ it to be comfortable and prefer it feels like I’m not wearing anything at all. As a busy and ambitious woman, I don’t have time or energy to be thinking about and dealing with restriction, tugging, itching, or poking, so my bras need to fit and feel like butta’.
- The *perfect* fit – In the same light, I also refuse to be adjusting straps, puling down bands, or realigning my boobs all day long. Remember the “set it and forget it!” infomercials (rotisserie chicken never looked so good)? That’s how I prefer my bras, please and thank you.
- Soft & luxurious – The older I get, I also realize bras are optional. So if I’m going to choose to wear a bra, it needs to feel like a treat. Surprisingly, just about every bra I tried on had amazing fabric, which was really nice to see.
- Breathable – Raise your hand if you’re also goin’ 24/7! As a toddler mom, homesteader, physical therapist, and just generally active person, I’m always moving which means warmth & friction & sweat…usually a bad combo for boobs and their bras. Honestly, before finding [these] bras I didn’t know breathable was a quality bras could have, but I’m here to tell you the best wireless bras are, so don’t settle for anything less, sister!
- Coverage but sexy – I might be a mom, but I’m also a wife and most definitely am not dead. While I want enough coverage to prevent spillage or showing the world my nipples, I also want to feel sexy, make my husband’s head turn, and compliment my body’s shape, know what I mean?
- Virtually invisible – Call me picky, but I really don’t like the look of visible bra straps. If possible, I want my bras to hide under my clothes and virtually disappear beneath even the low cut, open back, and thin strapped tops. I know this is asking a lot, but the options are out there (and I found ‘em!).
The five best wireless bras on the internet
Well…what are we waiting for?! Let’s get to the reason you’re here, eh? I had a lot of fun trying and comparing bras, learning about new brands, and allowing myself to be ridiculously picky in the bra selection process. Each of these bras check every box above and were tested with everything from cleaning the house to a toddler birthday party, yard work, and more! I now currently own and still love each and every one of these and am excited to tell you all about them.
PS – None of these bras were gifted or sponsored; I found them all on my own and bought them with my hard-earned money. Aka – no bias here, just a genuine appreciation for quality bras…promise 🙂
MY KEEPER “REGULAR” BRAS
Knix Revolution Bra – If I could encourage you to try only ONE bra, this would be my top pick (like…I cut the tag off after wearing it for ten seconds)! I would ultimately describe this as a flawless mix between a normal bra, sports bra, and bralette in one and wish it was available my entire bra-wearing life. TBH, I almost stopped trying on all other “regular” bras after this one to just buy more, but where’s the fun in that?!
My favorite features:
- The fabric is smooth but supportive and moisture-wicking with contours in all the right places.
- Removable padding that goes in and out quite easily (I usually wear it without).
- The adjustable straps are thin enough to hide perfectly under my clothes but thick enough to stay in place.
- The band has five clasp adjustments, which this changing body sincerely appreciates.
- The cut (both in the front and back) is just plain perfect – low enough to be sexy but enough coverage to hold everything where it belongs.
- Allllll the size (this one fits up to 44 H) and color options!
PS – Poppin’ in over a year later to report that [this] is the “regular” bra I always grab first, the one that looks the best under a white T-shirt, the one I adjust the least during the day, the one I tell my patients about when the topic arises, aaaaaaand the one I’ve gone back and purchased again.
Soma Vanishing 360 Perfect Coverage Wireless Bra – If you’re someone who doesn’t like change (raises hand!) this one looks and feels like the underwire t-shirt bras we all grew up wearing…but better. The best way to describe it is “smoothing” – everything goes and stays where it’s supposed to and feels minimal & effortless in the process.
My favorite features:
- Theeee softest material. Seriously. It feels like nothing against my skin and lays beautifully under my clothes
- The contour of the cups legit had me checking if I accidently ordered an underwire bra. Beautifully cut and shaped, I felt like this one was made for my body.
- The padding is thin and built right into the bra, which I honestly really like. I appreciate that bit of extra coverage without any additional moving pieces.
- The adjustable straps are thin but don’t dig into my shoulders or fall all over the place.
- The band is thick but doesn’t roll as the day goes on and has four clasp adjustments that I will definitely be taking advantage of.
Truekind Supportive Comfort Wireless Shaping Bra – This bra took almost twice as long as the others to arrive at my doorstep, and I honestly almost gave up on it. But once I tried it on (and saw Bob’s face…lol), it was an immediate yes and officially worth the wait. Out of all the bras, this one undeniably feels the sexiest (and has become my go-to date night bra), yet it also has the most coverage…what kind of magic is that???
My favorite features:
- The cup shape is perfect and gives a push-up bra illusion without extra padding.
- There’s an overlaying piece of fabric that I didn’t think I’d like, but it provides the look and feel of a thicker band has turned out to be my favorite feature
- The padding is thin and built right into the bra, providing more coverage without any extra moving pieces.
- The adjustable straps are thin but don’t dig into my shoulders or fall all over the place AND they’re adjustable for my racerback tops.
- Alllllll the size options! This one fits up to size 44 H.
MY KEEPER “WEEKEND” BRAS
Soma Enbliss Bralette – Talk about obsessed…I will literally do a whole load of laundry just to make sure this beauty is clean and ready to wear. This is my favorite to throw on after a long day at work and it effortlessly takes me from making dinner to running outside after a toddler to sippin’ my bone broth hot chocolate on the couch with zero adjustments.
My favorite features:
- Out of every bra I tried, this one has the softest, silkiest material, yet it also seems to wick sweat and doesn’t slip all over the place…sorcery I tell ya.
- The cut in both the front and back are sexy, yet everything stays put.
- There’s removable padding for a little extra support and coverage if and when you need it.
- The straps are a bit thicker, which I prefer in a bra that I’m wearing for pure comfort.
- No closures or metal pieces for that true “weekend bra” feel.
Third Love Form Seamless Scoop Bralette – I’m not usually a “walking around the house in my underwear” kinda girl, but this bra makes me feel so confident and looks so cute with a pair of sweats or shorts that I just can’t help it. If you’re someone who finds herself throwing on a sports bra for a little more support but don’t need something [that] restrictive, this is the bra for you.
My favorite features:
- The material and stitching are a bit thicker and sturdier, which is probably why I feel like I can wear it as a shirt around the house.
- The neck and back line sit at the perfect spot…not too high (still sexy!), not too low (no spillage!).
- There’s removable padding for a little extra support and coverage if and when you need it.
- No closures or metal pieces for that true “weekend bra” feel.
- Allllll the size (this one fits up to 48 I) and color options!
PS – Droppin’ in (again) over a year later to note that [this] “weekend” bra has become my favorite. Compared to the Soma Enbliss, it’s held its shape and elasticity better, doesn’t need to be adjusted as much, and continues to stand up to my still-changing body.
Some amazing, woman-owned companies
I’m not gonna lie…purchasing & tracking shipping & trying on & organizing & returning (oh the returning!) 19 bras was a little much. But I was dedicated to the process and am beyond pleased with the results, so it’s all good! One of my favorite parts of this experience was learning about and interacting with some incredible companies who went above and beyond, so naturally I just ~have~ to share.
Knix – Not only was I blown away by the quality of the Knix bras (see above for my #1 pick), but I was left speechless when I went to return one of their other bras that didn’t work for me. Rather than send me a link to print a return label like every other company, Knix simply asked that I donate the bra to someone in need and ~instantly~ refunded my account. As someone who tends to be very “brand loyal”, this act of kindness is just another reason why I will 10000000% be a return customer.
Harper Wilde – I didn’t end up keeping a bra from Harper Wilde (their Bliss Bralette was a top “weekend bra” contender), but everything about my experience with them was exceptionable. It came with the most beautiful postcards as a thank you gift, included step-by-step instructions for how to properly try on and ultimately wear a bra (which I actually found quite helpful), and included a shipping bag if you had any old bras to recycle. How cool is that!?
I’m here to support you…lol.
I don’t consider myself an influencer, but I do preach women’s wellness from the pelvic floor up, and breasts most definitely fall in that category. I firmly believe switching to a wireless bra benefits my health, as well as the confidence I gained and comfort I feel when wearing flawless & flattering bras. I genuinely hope these work for you in all the ways too, and would love to hear about it if they do.
And if you have a go-to wireless bra that belongs on this list, please share it in the comments! There’s nothing better than women helping women be their best, happiest, healthiest, most vibrant selves, and I’m more than excited to support that right here.
